What it is for and what it is not
RUDA gathers home preparations and presents them with their context, their evidence and their cautions. It is not a medical service. It does not diagnose, does not prescribe treatment, does not replace a health professional, and must not be used to decide to stop taking medication. In an emergency, call your country's emergency services.
Plants interact with medicines and some are contraindicated in pregnancy, while breastfeeding and in childhood. Consult a professional before using any preparation if you take medication, are pregnant, or are preparing something for another person.
Who can use it
RUDA is for people aged 18 and over. You are responsible for what you prepare, for what you give to other people, and for what you publish.
Your account
You can sign in with Apple, with Google, or with a username and a password.
If you sign in with a username and password, RUDA shows you a recovery key once. Your account is not linked to an email address, so that key is the only way back if you lose the password: keep it somewhere private. Anyone holding it can take over your account.
If you buy a plan before creating your account, RUDA creates a guest account to tie the purchase to it. After paying you can secure it with Apple, with Google or with a username and password, or leave it for later. A guest account that is not secured stays on that phone: if you lose it or uninstall the app, paid access is recovered with "Restore purchases" using the same App Store or Google Play account, but the rest of the account is not. While it is a guest account it cannot publish on the wall.
Rudo, the AI guide
Rudo answers using artificial intelligence models from Anthropic and OpenAI, based on RUDA's catalog. Its answers may be wrong, incomplete or not apply to your case. It is not a health professional and does not replace one. In an emergency, Rudo is not the channel: call emergency services.
The number of conversations depends on your plan and the app shows it before you start. Using Rudo for purposes unrelated to RUDA, or trying to make it answer outside its rules, is not allowed. If that happens, RUDA may limit access to Rudo.
The community wall
What you publish is signed with your alias and visible to anyone using RUDA. You publish under your own responsibility and keep your rights over what you write; by publishing it you authorize us to display it inside the app.
You may not publish content that promises to cure serious illness, that encourages abandoning medical treatment, that proposes dangerous substances, that sells products or services, or that harasses or exposes another person. You can report, hide and block from within the app. We may remove content that breaks these conditions and, if the breach is serious or repeated, block or close the account.
Other people's recipes are experiences they share. They are not verified by RUDA and do not carry the backing of the sources cited in the catalog.
The catalog
Catalog preparations are written by consulting public reference sources. Citing a source indicates where the information comes from; it does not mean that institution endorses, reviews or recommends RUDA.
Plans and payment
The recipe collection, the step-by-step preparation and the community are free. A paid plan allows, among other things, more than one cabinet and more conversations with Rudo. There are three plans:
- Weekly: a subscription charged every week that renews automatically.
- Annual: a subscription charged every year that renews automatically. It includes 14 free days at the start, once per store account.
- Lifetime: a single payment, with no renewal.
The price of each plan is shown in the app before you buy, in the currency set by the App Store or Google Play for your country, with applicable taxes.
Subscriptions are charged to your App Store or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase or, for the annual plan, when the 14 free days end. They renew for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can cancel from My account → Manage my subscription or from your store settings. Cancelling stops renewal: access continues until the end of the period already paid, and that period is not refunded. Uninstalling the app or deleting your RUDA account does not cancel the subscription.
Billing, taxes, refunds and purchase history are handled by the App Store or Google Play depending on where you bought, under their own terms. The purchase is tied to that store account and to your RUDA account, and is restored from within the app.
Your notebook and availability
Your notebook (profile, cabinets, own recipes, notes, daily record and Rudo conversations) is stored on your device. If you lose the phone or uninstall the app without having exported a copy from My account, that content is lost. Your account, your purchases and what you published on the wall live on the server.
There may be outages, maintenance and changes to features.
Liability
RUDA is provided as is. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Disruptive Consciousness LLC is not liable for damages arising from the use of the preparations, from Rudo's answers, from content published by other people, or from the service being unavailable. None of this limits rights granted to you by the law of your country that cannot be waived.
